Here is an overview of how to set up your equipment to run Dance Dance Revolution. The instructions included with your PS2 will give you more in-depth information.
· Unpack your PS2 from the box and connect the AC adaptor to the PS2. · Connect PS2 audio/visual cable between PS2 and TV or projector (cable is easily identified by its red, yellow and white three-way connector). · Insert memory card (if you purchased one) into front memory card slot on the PS2. · Unpack the dance pads and plug connectors into front controller ports on the PS2. If you purchased universal dance pads which can be connected to either a PS2, and X-Box, or a Nintendo game system, there will be three different connectors from which to choose on the dance pad. Don’t worry, only one connector size option will fit the ports on your PS2, so you can’t go wrong. · Make sure your TV/projector and PS2 are plugged into an electrical outlet. Turn on TV/projector and PS2. Press “Input” or “Mode” button on TV/projector to bring up the PS2 on the screen. You will see the Sony PlayStation 2 logo when the correct “line in” or “input” mode is selected. · Open PS2 disc port (very much like a DVD or CD player). · Insert the DDR game disc and close the disc port. · If game doesn’t automatically load, just press the restart button on the front of the PS2. You should begin to see the Konami/Bemani logos followed shortly by the DDR opening credits.
The next page takes you through how to navigate the DDR Max 2 game. Remember, each DDR game is slightly different, so you may need to refer to individual game instructions. |
