Here is an overview of how to set up your equipment to run Karaoke Revolution. The instructions included with your PS2 will give you more in-depth information.

· Unpack your PS2 from the box and connect the AC adaptor to the PS2.

· Connect PS2 audio/visual cable between PS2 and TV or projector (cable is easily identified by its red, yellow and white three-way connector).

Note:  If you are using a sound system in addition to the TV or projector, you may carefully and partially peel the audio/video cable so that the red and white connectors (audio feeds) can reach your sound system audio input ports. You’ll need to have your sound system close enough to the PS2 for the feeds to reach.

· Insert memory card (if you purchased one) into front memory card slot on the PS2.

· Unpack controller from the PS2 box, and plug controller into first of two controller ports on the PS2. The controller allows for game navigation and song selection.

·  Unpack microphone and plug it into the first of two USB ports on the PS2

Note:  Controller and microphone connectors are conveniently different in size so plug them into the ports where they will fit.

· Make sure your TV/projector and PS2 are plugged into an electrical outlet. Turn on TV/projector and PS2. Press “Input” or “Mode” button on TV/projector to bring up the PS2 on screen. You will see the Sony logo when the correct “line in” or “input” mode is selected.

Note: Every projector and TV is unique, so you may need to refer to instructions for that  particular piece of equipment to determine the correct mode for a DVD-type accessory.

· Open PS2 disc port (very much like a DVD or CD player).

· Insert the Karaoke Revolution game disc and close the disc port.

· If game doesn’t automatically load, just press the restart button on the front of the PS2. You should begin to see the Konami/Bemani logos followed shortly by the KR opening credits.

The next page takes you through how to navigate the Karaoke Revolution Party game version. Remember, each KR game is slightly different, so you may need to refer to individual game instructions.
