Two veteran Physical Education teachers, an innovative Music Education teacher, and the parent of a child who experienced dramatic physical fitness benefits with the help of DDR, developed this site as a resource for other teachers and parents who would like to integrate Dance Dance Revolution and/or Karaoke Revolution into their schools, but aren't quite sure how to go about doing so.
Maureen Byrne and her two sons introduced Dance Dance Revolution and Karaoke Revolution to the Parkway School District in 2004. Maureen helped develop now widely adopted methodologies to effectively incorporate these games into the school physical education environment.
Annalee Zweig holds a Masters Degree in Physical Education from the University of Missouri, and has devoted 24 years to inspiring a physical fitness for life philosophy among the elementary school students she teaches in the Parkway School District.
Terri Hauser holds a Bachelor of Science in Health and Physical Education, plus a Masters in Education, and has taught PE at the elementary level for more than 20 years. Her goal is to stimulate all students to be regularly active.
Pamela Yelton holds a Masters Degree in Music Education with a concentration in the Orff approach from Webster University in St. Louis Missouri. Pam has taught in public schools for the last 15 years, and choirs under her direction have been frequent invitees to perform at prestigious showcases in the St. Louis area. |
