Guitar Hero
Another active video game which runs on the PlayStation2 game platform is Guitar Hero produced by the company RedOctane. This game is extremely appealing to students of all ages. You may have seen it set up for customers to try out at retailers like Wal-Mart, Target, Best Buy, and other stores where electronics are sold.
In Guitar Hero, players hold electric guitar facsimiles and match their finger placement on the guitar fret board to visuals provided on the TV or projection screen. Players must simultaneously match their guitar strumming against screen instructions.
Guitar Hero is an especially good incentive or reward game for students. If your school has already purchased DDR equipment, the only additional items you’ll need to purchase in order to play Guitar Hero are guitar controllers and the Guitar Hero game disc. (Make sure you buy the guitars and games specifically for the PS2 platform versus for the Xbox.) These may be purchased in one or two player bundles directly from the manufacturer through the graphic link below.
